I tried this before a few workouts and liked that the energy came on gradually instead of hitting all at once. The fruit punch flavor is easy enough to drink, and it mixed well with water without leaving a lot of grit at the bottom of my shaker bottle.What stood out to me was that I felt energized through my workout without the shaky feeling I've had with some stronger pre-workouts. I also didn't notice much of a crash afterward, which made it easier to get on with the rest of my day. I knocked off one star because the flavor is a bit sweeter than I prefer, but the performance itself was solid and I'd use it again for training sessions.

I've taken pre-workout for years, both in and out of the gym. I'm a fan, and an advocate, and tend to recommend it to others whether they're working out or not. In the age of energy drinks and the exorbitant cost that comes with them, I think it's worth it to get a tub of pre-working, which will give you the fruity taste, and the energy to go with it.But, not all pre-workout powders are the same. Typically, they contain a lot of caffeine, and I'm typically judging if it's enough, and also not TOO MUCH. Other ingredients play their part but past caffeine, you're probably judging the product based on taste, which I'll talk about. This mix does however contain beta-alanine, which I believe is the chemical responsible for making your skin feel hot. That one exists here, and it's one I appreciate as it really tells you when it's kicking in. Not everyone loves that itch, but I do and it's a staple of a good pre-workout.Talking effectiveness, this works. You can feel it and you can tell it's feeding you the caffeine and doing it's job. I will say for me, it felt a bit weak. Pre-workouts typically give you a dosage of 100mg of caffeine, about a cup of coffee, and that's what you'll get here. However, many pre-workouts give you way more. I don't need a ton, so this is a good amount, but none the less, I didn't feel a zip quite like I do on some other brands.The star of the show here is the taste. I thought it was great. I'm not typically a fan of fruit punch, but I thought this was good. To recap;PROS: Effective-Enough, and Taste good.CONS: Price is a bit high for a brand I've never heard of. Especially considering it didn't give me a major boost, and was sort of lacking in energy delivery.Overall, I would recommend, and buy it again, but only if I could get it for about half-off it's current price.
